Since joining Pearl in March 2015, Anna represents clients in multiple industries on the full range of business immigration matters, including both Global and US immigration. Anna works collaboratively with clients to help build strong, scalable, and sustainable global mobility programs. In supporting professionals newer to the immigration space, Anna and her team work to provide comprehensive and robust onboarding experiences to ensure the client’s HR and global mobility teams are well prepared for long-term immigration success.
Prior to law school graduation, Anna served as a Student Attorney for Hastings’ Refugee and Human Rights Clinic and was the Senior Executive Editor for Hastings International an Comparative Law Review. She was also a three-time winner of the prestigious CALI Excellence for the Future Award for academic excellence in Refugee and Human Rights, Comparative Law, and International & Foreign Legal Research. She spent her summers at Hastings as an intern at the Organization for Refuge Asylum and Migration (ORAM) and the San Francisco Human Rights Commission (HRC) supporting refugees and others facing discrimination. Anna remains active with AILA volunteer opportunities and serves as a volunteer attorney for AILA San Diego at the Mexican consulate.
Connection to Immigration
My parents were immigrants in Canada, where I was born. We moved to the United States when I was eight years old. I have lived in four different countries: Canada, the U.S., France, and Denmark. I speak three languages, and plan to learn more!

What is a fun fact about you?
While I occasionally miss my snowy winters skiing in Canada, I now enjoy being able to paddle board any time of year in California.
