Connection to Immigration
My father is a U.S. citizen born abroad; my mother immigrated to the U.S. in her late teens; and my husband came to the U.S. as an F-1 student. I was born in San Francisco, one of the first sanctuary cities in the nation and home to a large immigrant population. I can’t help but be connected to immigration!
